László Tenk - New works

2010. October 14. - October 31.

The works of the Hungarian painter László Tenk, recipient of the Munkácsy-Award, are based on immediat experiences of emotions and show a veritable artist. His impressive and topically varied paintings show the artist’s diversity: the creation of the studios and portraits, the natural and designed landscapes, his wistful genre paintings. An artist, on whose images full of nostalgy and joviality the existence seems to triumph. An imagery is spread out in front of us, in which life and every one of its moments provides the opportunity of cognition and amazement. László Tenk observes the world and shows it to us in a way in which we probably want to see things and lead our lives.

The exhibition at the Koller Gallery presents a selection of László Tenk’s latest work, at the same time refering to the past creative period and an indication for future artworks.
