Mimmo Rotella Gone with the wind

Description
The SeriDécollage by Mimmo Rotella uses as a support the poster of Victor Fleming's movie Via col Vento (Gone with the Wind, 1939), performed by Vivien Leight, Clark Gable, Olivia De Havilland, and Leslie Howard, and based on the best-selling 1936 novel Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. Rotella celebrated this movie - one of most successful of all time - with this fine seridécollage, each of which - even if a multiple - can be considered a single original artwork, because Rotella's intervention, i.e. his hand-made tears, are similar but not identical. Each copy is numbered and signed by the artist, bearing furthermore the embossing stamp of the Fondazione Mimmo Rotella. Pontiggia 2005, p. 42.
