Auctions

When do your auctions take place?

Koller Gallery typically organizes two auctions per year – one in spring and one in autumn.

How can I participate in an auction?

Registration on our auction platform is required. Bidding takes place exclusively online.

Is absentee bidding possible?

Written absentee bids may be accepted upon prior arrangement.

Where can auction lots be viewed?

Before each auction, all lots are exhibited in our gallery in Budapest’s Buda Castle district and are also available online with detailed descriptions and images.

How do I receive a purchased lot?

Works may be collected in person by appointment, or we can arrange professional packaging and worldwide shipping.

Is installment payment possible?

Installment agreements may be arranged individually.

Buying Art

Is shipping free for online purchases?

For selected offers, packaging and shipping are included. Details are provided within each listing.

Do I receive documentation or proof of authenticity?

For works sold through the gallery, written documentation is provided, including available information regarding the artist, technique and dating.

Can I view an artwork before purchasing?

Yes, artworks may be viewed in person at our gallery by appointment.

Selling & Appraisal

Do you offer free art appraisals?

Yes. You may upload photographs via our website to receive a free preliminary evaluation if the work fits our profile.

Which artists do you accept?

Our focus is Hungarian classical, modern and contemporary art.

Do you purchase artworks directly?

In selected cases we offer direct purchase. Alternatively, works may be consigned to auction or offered via private sale.

Visiting the Gallery

Is there an entrance fee?

No, visiting the gallery is free of charge.

Are group visits possible?

Groups of more than ten persons require prior arrangement.

Where can I park?

Parking is available near Vienna Gate, a short walk from the gallery.
