Description

In this painting we can see a sprawling cavalcade of geometric forms made up of composition lines. The descripted forms reminding bubles appear in front of us are concentrated in the direction of center of the picture. This picture is caracterized by feminine round-shaped spots and loose brushstroke .
The artistic carrier of this painter, Pál Gerzson is complex.
Stepping out from the frame of figurative painting and being pushed away from the reality he worked as an abstract painter, but he claimed that althow he was painting fiction, his starting point was based on forms of nature and his real experience, and he was constructing his pictures in the spirit of cubism.
His picture called ’’The Fog” belongs tohis late period of his painting activity. The abstraction of this work reminds the style of Miró, the Catalan painter.
Concerning his use of colors he follows the analitic cubist painting of Cézanne.
Bright floating of colors make up the composition of this pictures.
The artist spent a lot of time in the home of Artistsat lake Balaton in the 60’s of the 20-es century. He was greatly concerned about lights, colors and air.
His picture „The FOG” which is of high is an illusion of nature. This is a picture of a landscape, it is light and expressive.
