Description
Duschanek János’ painting “Departure” exemplifies the artist’s narrative and symbolically charged visual language, which fuses naïve figuration, folkloric motifs, and subtly surreal staging. Set in a nocturnal landscape illuminated by a pale moon, a group of nude women gather around a small boat, preparing to board or to embark on a journey.
