Péter Párkányi's public sculpture has been inaugurated in Vienna

In the garden of the Vienna University of Medicine (Medizinische Universität Wien) has been inaugurated the latest public sculpture by our artist Péter Párkányi. The statue represents and gives respect to Ignác Semmelweis, who was the famous Hungarian doctor, the "Savior of Mothers”. The fine details of the portrait and the classical style for Párkányi, almost gets alive the noble bronze material.
