Results & Summary of our 3.Hungarian Sale auction

Our 3rd art auction was also received with great interest by the connoisseur audience, so it ended with successful results!

Among the many sold works, we would like to highlight István MÁCSAI's "Sunset", which started at a starting price of HUF 95,000 and ended up at HUF 750,000 (+ 18% of our commissions). In the same way, Zoltán VERESS's work "Puttók a hób" (Puttók a hób) which is still undervalued but has already achieved high prices on the international market, was bought by a determined collector for HUF 550,000 after starting at HUF 90,000. Although it deserved more, in our opinion, Miklós BORSOS's work entitled "A couple looking at the sunset" was sold at a rare high price for a unique ink work, where it started at HUF 180,000 and finally sold for HUF 420,000. As a special feature, we would also like to mention the persistent bidding war for Pál CSERGEZÁN's colored etching: his work "Deer in the forest" reached HUF 170,000, which has never been seen among the artist's etchings.
