Results & Summary of our 5.Hungarian Sale auction

Our 5th pre-Christmas art auction was successfully concluded

Among the purchased works, we would like to highlight the works of Pál CSERGEZÁN, especially his painting "Roaring deer", which started at a starting price of HUF 1,400,000 and ended up selling for HUF 3,800,000 (+ our 18% commission), which is a new lifetime record! The same master's work entitled "Wild ducks taking to the water" started at a starting price of HUF 315,000 and reached a purchase price of HUF 1,600,000. Also an outstanding result is that SCHEIBER Hugo's gouache entitled "Parkban" doubled its price from HUF 1,800,000 to HUF 3,600,000.
Among the sculptures, Imre VARGA's work entitled "Odett" started at HUF 170,000 and sold for HUF 1,000,000, but we would also like to highlight the special terracotta sculpture "Moses" by János KASS, which finally found a buyer in the master's hometown of Szeged for HUF 200,000.
Among the graphics launched at the auction, all of Victor VASARELY's graphics found a buyer - in addition to this, we would also like to highlight Károly REICH's work entitled "Woman with Bull", which started at HUF 75,000 and ended up selling for an outstanding HUF 340,000.
