How to Participate in Our Auctions
Below you will find an overview of our online auction process – from registration and bidding to payment and collection.
1. Registration
Koller Gallery auctions are conducted online and are accompanied by a public exhibition in our gallery located in Budapest’s historic Buda Castle district. Registration on our auction platform is required before placing bids.

We recommend registering at least 5–12 hours before auction closing to ensure timely authorization.
2. Viewing the Lots
All lots may be viewed in person during the pre-auction exhibition. We recommend personal inspection or requesting a condition report prior to bidding.
3. Starting Prices & Bid Increments
Published prices are starting prices. Each lot also includes an estimated value. Bid increments are typically set at 10% intervals and generated automatically by our system.
4. Buyer’s Premium
The buyer’s premium is 18% net (22.86% gross including Hungarian VAT).
Lots marked FGR are subject to an additional resale royalty (droit de suite) between 0.5–4% as required by law.
5. Authenticity
Upon request, we provide written confirmation of authenticity for works sold through the gallery.
6. Payment
Payment may be made via bank transfer or credit card. Credit card payments are subject to a 2% processing fee.
Invoices are issued in Hungarian Forint. Upon request, invoices may also be issued in EUR or USD based on the official exchange rate of the Hungarian National Bank.
7. Collection
Purchased works may be collected from the first working day after the auction. We recommend scheduling an appointment in advance.
8. Packing & Shipping
Professional packing and worldwide shipping can be arranged upon request. An indicative shipping quote may be provided prior to the auction.
9. Terms of Sale
