Biography

István Molnár - to the distinctness he often used officially the “Iscsu” nickname - was born in 1947 in Salgótarján (city in the Northern Hungary). He began his artistic career as a member of the Young Artists' Studio. From 1976 he illustrated 22 books. Since 1979 he has been participating on number of individual exhibitions; he regular takes part in group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad as well.

His strength is the graphics, exlibris, illustration art books and book layout. On his sarcastic, hilarious, melancholic tone graphics biological forms, astrological symbols and plaits appear.
